Ultramarine

This photo was captured during a visit to Crater Lake National Park. The lake begs for panoramic photography - check out my panorama of Crater Lake.

When I hiked up to this particular viewpoint on Sun Notch trail, I noticed the two towering trees flanking the sides of Phantom Ship and thought this framing would make an interesting composition. The green color in the trees complement the brilliant deep blue color of the lake. Yes, the lake is really that blue.
